Software Engineer – Full-Stack

mohemian is looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Full-Stack to join our team in Innsbruck. We are seeking an experienced engineer who thrives on designing sophisticated, maintainable systems and who wants to play a decisive role in shaping technical direction across projects.

• Architect and build robust full-stack applications with a strong focus on scalability, maintainability, and long-term evolution.
• Design APIs, microservices, and data models that support complex, production-grade systems.
• Lead modernization initiatives, including refactoring and migrating legacy systems across backend, frontend, and mobile interfaces.
• Take end-to-end ownership of the software lifecycle, from requirements engineering and architecture to delivery, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Drive architectural decisions and contribute to long-term technical strategy.
• Elevate engineering standards through thoughtful code reviews, mentoring, and technical leadership.
• Strengthen CI/CD pipelines, automation, infrastructure, and cloud deployments to improve reliability and developer productivity.
• Ensure high standards in performance, security, observability, and testing across systems.
• Collaborate closely with product and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into elegant technical solutions.

• Professional experience in software engineering, with demonstrated ownership of production systems.
• Strong experience designing and evolving RESTful APIs and distributed or microservice-based architectures.
• Deep proficiency in modern frontend technologies (React or Vue) and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design and performance optimization.
• Proven experience with CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and automation in production environments.
• Strong understanding of system design, API contracts, integration patterns, and testing strategies.
• Ability to balance pragmatism with long-term architectural thinking.
• Experience reviewing code, guiding peers, and raising engineering standards.
• Proficiency in modern AI-assisted development tooling (e.g., LLM-based coding assistants, code generation, AI-driven testing and analysis tools), with the ability to integrate them responsibly and effectively into engineering workflows.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to clearly communicate technical trade-offs and decisions.
